Salty Surf School operates surf lessons in most weather conditions, including rain, provided conditions are safe to do so. Lessons will only be cancelled or rescheduled if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable for quality instruction, including but not limited to excessively large surf, completely flat conditions, strong winds, or lightning.
If Salty Surf School cancels or changes the time of a lesson due to surf or weather conditions, participants will be offered a credit to use toward a future lesson. If the rescheduled time is not suitable, a refund may be issued at the discretion of Salty Surf School.
Once a booking is made, that place cannot always be filled if cancelled. For this reason, the following cancellation terms apply.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled lesson may be eligible for a refund at the discretion of Salty Surf School. Where a refund is approved, a $30 administration fee will be deducted, along with any non-refundable booking platform fees or card processing fees incurred.
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson are not eligible for a refund. A credit will be issued for use toward a future lesson.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time, or failure to attend, will result in the full lesson fee being forfeited. No refund or credit will be provided.
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing by emailing getsalty@saltysurfschool.com.
Credits are not redeemable for cash and may be subject to expiry.
